Abstract

Advances in computing and networks have considerably improved the way we communicate and exchange information. The improved efficiency in communication and data exchange has contributed to globalization in true sense, with business possible around the clock without boarders. Cloud computing is a rapidly developing branch of this sector with considerable applications in healthcare and biomedical research. In this brief review an insight into the utility of cloud computing in healthcare and biomedical research is described.
